Western Australian-born Bernadette grew up running wild and barefoot in the bush. Moving to Perth, she was educated at a Catholic Girls' School.

 

Bernadette backpacked around Europe in the Seventies, but now lives in Secret Harbour with her husband, she has three children and three wonderful grandchildren and pursues her dream of writing.
