Terence the Turkey in the Army (Terence the Turkey Series)

When Terence the Turkey decided to join the army in Adelaide; the farmer fainted, the bulls were baffled, and the sheep sobbed. Happy the horse was horrified, Tammy (Terence's little sister) had a tantrum, and Patrick the pig protested.

Terence the Turkey in the Army is fictitious, but the stories are based on true life experiences by the author. The chapters are full of action and silliness, as well as storylines with insight for children about life in general. Here are a few snapshots from the book:

* Terence and his buddy caused PLATOON PANDEMONIUM when half the platoon turned to the left, and the other half to the right. (Chapter 4)

* A boil on Terence's bottom was ready to erupt like a violent volcano. The emu doctor ran closer with a scalpel in the HORROR HOSPITAL. (Chapter 6)

* Was Terence struck by the army truck in STEAK SKULL? (Chapter 7)

* The grand final between the Crisp Cassowaries and the Cosmic Cane Toads promised to be a SOCCER SPECTACLE! (Chapter 8)
