She started her career as a scientific civil servant working with the armed forces before moving into forensic toxicology at St George’s Medical School and then at the United Medical Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ in London. She moved into analytical instrumentation sales before starting her own skills development business for providers of science, technology, healthcare and engineering solutions.

Christine is a qualified civil and commercial mediator specialising in divorce management and negotiation. She also served as a magistrate for eleven years in criminal courts. Having read in excess of 1400 crime and thriller novels, she is using her recent relocation to the south coast as an opportunity to write her own. Christine takes inspiration from solitary walks on the beach where her protagonist, DI Nick Morgan, might be found walking the family dog.

Crime/Police Procedural

The DI Nick Morgan Crime Thriller series currently comprises three novels – 'Make You Sorry', 'Make You Beg' and 'Make You Choose.'

Morgan is persuaded by his wife to give up his successful career at the Met and relocate to the sleepy area of Gullhaven Cove so she can be nearer her mother. It is an opportunity for a quieter life, and a chance to indulge in his hobby of property renovation, starting with oiling the front door. He wakes on his first morning in their new home to find blood dripping down a chandelier, and his team treating him as a suspect.

The novels are typical of the crime / police procedural genre and are filled with murders, vengeance, jealousy and lies. The new life Nick Morgan was expecting fails to materialise ... and his front door still squeaks. Christine is currently working on the fourth book in the series 'Make You Mine.'
